Laguna Beach is a community on the southern shores of Orange County known for its tranquillity, luxury, and spectacular oceanfront views. Beyond its premium residences and array of locally owned stores, Laguna Beach is also home to over 20,000 acres of lush wilderness, making it the perfect place for outdoor adventurers.

The area was settled by a group of homesteaders in the late 1800s. When the Laguna Beach Hotel was built at the turn of the century, residents flocked here from further inland for the cool, coastal breezes and beautiful views. Over the next decades, Laguna Beach became a destination coastal getaway and flourished as a hometown for those who moved in.

A local favorite since 1982, Laguna Surf and Sport has apparel and equipment for active Laguna Beach residents. AMĒNAH is a fashionable boutique with high-end women’s styles, home goods, gifts, and skincare. More fashion can be found at Simple Laguna, which has classic wardrobe staples that are built to last. If you’re looking for more unique or vintage finds, Twig of Laguna is the spot. And Beach House Laguna Beach has some of the best home decor and accessories in the area, making it the perfect spot to find everything you need for your new home.

Laguna Beach is equal parts luxuriously fun and athletic. Whether you’re looking for an easy-going day full of lounging and entertainment or to challenge yourself on the golf course or in the waves, Laguna Beach has it all.

In the summertime, everyone in Laguna Beach gathers in Bluebird Park to listen to live music in the community’s summer concert series, Music in the Park. Sawdust Art Festival has two distinct times in Laguna Beach. The classic summer festival brings local vendors together to display incredible crafts, and Winter Fantasy is a festive shopping experience rolled into a one-of-a-kind art show.

For a day of pampering, visit the upscale The Montage hotel. If you’re looking for something more active, both Monarch Beach Golf Links and The Ranch at Laguna Beach Golf Course are close by. Brooks Street Surf Classic is a surf contest that’s open to locals only. It’s the longest-running contest ever, now at over 50 years, and generations of Laguna Beach surfers have participated since its inception.
