Welcome to The Village

A charming and walkable community nestled along the coast

If the name Corona Del Mar means “Crown of the Sea,” then The Village is the gem set proudly in that crown. The residential streets in The Village are all named after beautiful flowers like Begonia, Dahlia, and Poppy. It’s a very active community, and residents are able to easily access everything they need.

It was originally part of Irvine Ranch, but at the beginning of the 20th Century, a stretch of oceanfront land was used to build summer cottages. The cottages filled up quickly, and their residents never left. And who could blame them for staying, with perfect weather and sweeping ocean vistas?

There is a mix of single-family homes and condos in The Village. The condos usually have a front and back unit and are nestled along quaint streets. Along Ocean Boulevard, the homes have stunning and unimpaired views of the waves crashing against honeyed sand. No matter where you choose to live in The Village, buying a home here is more than just a place to live, it’s immersing yourself in the charming and luxuriously laid-back lifestyle that comes with the address.

Fashion Island is just up the road in Newport Beach, and it’s full of world-class shopping. It’s Southern California destination shopping just minutes from the ocean.

Things to Do

The Village is steeped in longstanding community events that date back decades, and the neighborhoods are full of parks and trails where residents can enjoy the stunning weather year-round.

Every Saturday, Farmers’ Market takes place on the corner of Marguerite and the Pacific Coast Highway. It’s been a vital part of the community for over two decades, and it’s a hub for community and local goods. Corona Del Mar also has beautiful green spaces around every corner. Relax in neighborhood parks like Jasmine View Park or enjoy a peaceful three-mile hike through the foothills of Buck Gully Trail.

The Corona del Mar Scenic 5K has been a huge event for the past 40 years. Whether they are running or just spectating, locals come out to enjoy the camaraderie, food, and activities. Another big community event is the Corona del Mar Christmas Walk. This holiday celebration features local artists, live music, delicious food, and visits with Santa.
